The intense heat that takes a toll on the body has been continuing day after day, and it is expected that extremely hot weather will persist in eastern and western Japan for about 10 more days. Please continue to take thorough precautions against heatstroke.
一方、前線が南下する影響で、東日本では非常に激しい雨が降るおそれがあり、気象庁は低い土地の浸水や川の増水などに警戒するよう呼びかけています。
On the other hand, due to the front moving south, there is a risk of extremely heavy rain in eastern Japan, and the Japan Meteorological Agency is urging people to be on alert for flooding in low-lying areas and rising river levels.
気象庁によりますと、10日も東日本と西日本を中心に気温が上がり、日中の最高気温は山口市や京都市、兵庫県豊岡市で36度、広島市や大阪市、甲府市、東京の都心で35度と猛暑日が予想されているほか、福岡市や名古屋市、横浜市で34度など各地で厳しい暑さとなる見込みです。
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, temperatures will rise mainly in eastern and western Japan on the 10th as well, with the daytime high expected to reach 36°C in Yamaguchi City, Kyoto City, and Toyooka City in Hyogo Prefecture, and 35°C in Hiroshima City, Osaka City, Kofu City, and central Tokyo, making it a scorching hot day. In addition, severe heat is expected in various places, such as 34°C in Fukuoka City, Nagoya City, and Yokohama City.
熱中症の危険性が極めて高くなるとして、茨城県、東京23区と多摩地方、千葉県、神奈川県、山梨県、静岡県、三重県、石川県、京都府、兵庫県、和歌山県、広島県、島根県、鳥取県に「熱中症警戒アラート」が発表されています。
A Heatstroke Alert has been issued for Ibaraki Prefecture, the 23 wards of Tokyo and the Tama area, Chiba Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, Ishikawa Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Wakayama Prefecture, Hiroshima Prefecture, Shimane Prefecture, and Tottori Prefecture, as the risk of heatstroke is extremely high.
適切にエアコンを使用し、水分や塩分を補給するとともに、屋外の作業ではこまめに休憩をとるなど、熱中症への対策を続けてください。
Please continue to take measures against heatstroke, such as using air conditioning appropriately, staying hydrated and replenishing salt, and taking frequent breaks when working outdoors.
一方、東日本では前線が南下し、暖かく湿った空気が流れ込むため大気の状態が非常に不安定になる見込みで、局地的に雷を伴って非常に激しい雨が降るおそれがあります。
On the other hand, in eastern Japan, the front will move southward and warm, humid air will flow in, making the atmosphere extremely unstable. There is a risk of very heavy rain accompanied by localized thunderstorms.
また西日本の太平洋側や沖縄地方でも湿った空気の影響で激しい雨が降るおそれがあり、11日朝までの24時間に降る雨の量は、いずれも多いところで九州南部で150ミリ、関東甲信と奄美地方で120ミリ、沖縄で100ミリと予想されています。
There is also a risk of heavy rain on the Pacific side of western Japan and in the Okinawa region due to moist air. The expected rainfall in the 24 hours up to the morning of the 11th is up to 150 millimeters in southern Kyushu, 120 millimeters in the Kanto-Koshin and Amami regions, and 100 millimeters in Okinawa.
気象庁は、低い土地の浸水や川の増水、土砂災害に警戒するとともに落雷や竜巻などの激しい突風、ひょうに注意するよう呼びかけています。
