23日午後に岡山市南区飽浦で発生した山林火災では、これまでに延焼の範囲が岡山市南区と玉野市の一部のおよそ250ヘクタールに及び、山すその住宅や倉庫など合わせて6棟の建物に被害が出ましたが、24日朝からは延焼の範囲は広がらず小康状態となっています。
In the forest fire that occurred in Akura, Minami-ku, Okayama City in the afternoon of the 23rd, the spread of the fire has so far extended to approximately 250 hectares in parts of Minami-ku, Okayama City and Tamano City, affecting a total of six buildings, including houses and warehouses at the foot of the mountain. 岡山市は、住宅地などへの延焼は防げる見通しが立ったとして、24日午後5時半に南区の一部に出していた避難指示をすべて解除しました。
<br><br>Okayama City lifted all evacuation orders for parts of the Minami Ward at 5:30 PM on the 24th, as it was anticipated that the spread of fire to residential areas could be prevented.
一方で、風の強さや向きによっては火が再び広がるおそれもあるとして、現場に消防車を待機させ夜を徹して警戒にあたったほか、自主的に避難する人のために2か所の避難所を開放しています。
<br><br>On the other hand, due to the possibility that the fire might spread again depending on the strength and direction of the wind, fire trucks were stationed at the site to keep watch throughout the night, and two evacuation centers were opened for people evacuating voluntarily.
市では25日朝、延焼がこれ以上広がらない鎮圧の状態にできるよう、ヘリコプターを使って上空から最新の状況を確認し、消火活動を再開しました。
On the morning of the 25th, the city resumed firefighting activities by using helicopters to check the latest situation from the air to ensure that the spread of the fire could be contained.
自衛隊のヘリコプターなどのほか、25日は鳥取県の消防ヘリも加わり、態勢を強化して消火活動にあたっています。
