On the 1st, seven elementary school students aged 7 to 8 were hit and injured by a passenger car while walking home on a city road in Senbonnaka, Nishinari Ward, Osaka. Police arrested Yuki Yazawa, an unemployed 28-year-old from Higashimurayama City, Tokyo, on suspicion of attempted murder, as they suspect he intentionally hit the children.

Of the seven elementary school students, in addition to a seven-year-old girl, it was found that an eight-year-old boy had also suffered a broken arm, bringing the number of seriously injured to two.

According to the investigation so far, the suspect has stated things like, I got sick of everything, so I decided to kill someone and rammed my car into them.
