Nishiyuu Supermarket has decided not to increase the price of over 1200 of their own-labled food products until June this year.

この会社かいしゃは去年きょねんから、300以上いじょうある全部ぜんぶの店みせで、客きゃくが自分じぶんで計算けいさんしてお金かねを払はらうレジを使つかっています

This company installed customer self-paid registers in over 300 of all their supermarkets last year.

店員てんいんを少すくなくして店みせにかかるお金かねを少すくなくしたため、同おなじ値段ねだんで売うることができると言いっています

For the purposes of lowering overheads, the number of store employees has been reduced. As a result, the company has been able to keep prices the sames.

A representative from Nishiyuu has said, ”We believe the cost of living has been difficult on our customers so the store is doing what all we can do to help.”
