The first bee to make a star-shaped cocoon is found in Japan

Three years ago, children found a star-shaped cocoon in Okinawa City.
When I looked up the museums in Okinawa City, I found that it was a cocoon made by a new kind of bee.
This bee has a body length of about 3mm to 4mm
The name is now ”Hoshigata Harabo Socoma Yubachi”
According to the museum, when this bee is still small, about 100 bees gather to make a cocoon of about 1 cm to 3 cm by threading it.
There are few insects that make star-shaped cocoons in the world, and it was first found in Japan.
