Tesla hits record high profit with sales of 2.4 trillion yen

US electric vehicle (EV) giant Tesla once again posted record profits
Overcoming supply chain problems that plague the automotive industry, Q1 results far exceeded market expectations
売上高は１８８億ドル（約２兆４０００億円）で、第４四半期比６％増、前年同期比８１％増でした
Sales were $ 18.8 billion, up 6% from the fourth quarter and 81% from the same period last year.
調整後利益は３７億ドルで、調査会社リフィ二ティブのアナリスト予想２６億ドルを大幅に上回り、また、１年前の１１億ドルの３倍以上となりました
Adjusted profit was $ 3.7 billion, well above analysts’ forecast of $ 2.6 billion at research firm Refinitive, and more than tripled from $ 1.1 billion a year ago.

しかし、テスラは今後の見通しについてサプライチェーンの問題から免れることはできないと警告し、「工場をフル稼働させる能力」が制限され、こうした状況は年内ずっと続く可能性が高いと付け加えました
However, Tesla warned that the outlook could not be spared from supply chain problems, adding that ”the ability to run the factory at full capacity” was limited and this situation is likely to continue throughout the year.
