Aichi’s ”Ghibli Park” opens, attracting fans from all over the country
愛知県長久手市の愛・地球博記念公園に、スタジオジブリの名作の世界が楽しめる「ジブリパーク」が1日オープンしました
”Ghibli Park”, where you can enjoy the world of Studio Ghibli’s masterpieces, opened on the 1st at the Aichi Expo Commemorative Park in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture.
On the 1st, the park opened at 10:00 a.m., and visitors were welcomed by Studio Ghibli director Goro Miyazaki, who directed the production of Ghibli Park, and Governor Omura of Aichi Prefecture.
Ghibli Park was developed by Aichi Prefecture in order to pass on the philosophy of the 2005 Aichi Expo to the next generation.
This time, three areas, ”Ghibli’s Great Warehouse”, ”Seishun no Oka”, and ”Dondoko Forest” have opened, but two more areas are scheduled to be completed next year.
