According to Reuters, flooding occurred on the 5th in Bujiu, Democratic Republic of Congo, due to the heavy rain that had fallen from the previous day.

　現地げんちの市民団体しみんだんたいのメンバーは、227人にんの遺体いたいが発見はっけんされたと明あきらかにしています

　洪水こうずいによる負傷者数十人ふしょうしゃすうじゅうにんが地元じもとの病院びょういんで治療ちりょうを受うけていて、現地げんちの医師いしによりますと、けが人にんを治療ちりょうするための薬くすりと設備せつびが足たりていないということです

　この地域ちいきで洪水こうずいや土砂崩どしゃくずれは珍めずらしいことではなく、ルワンダと国境こっきょうを接せっする南みなみキヴ州しゅうでは今週こんしゅう、130人にんが死亡しぼうし、5000軒以上けんいじょうの家屋かおくが倒壊とうかいしています

Floods and landslides are not uncommon in the region, with 130 people dead and more than 5,000 homes destroyed this week in South Kivu province, which borders Rwanda.
