広島市ひろしましの平和公園へいわこうえんとアメリカのパールハーバー国立記念公園こくりつきねんこうえんが、「姉妹しまい公園こうえん」になることが決きまりました

Peace Park in Hiroshima City and Pearl Harbor National Memorial Park in the United States have decided to become ”sister parks”

5年ねんの間あいだ、協力きょうりょくして若わかい人ひとたちに平和へいわの大切たいせつさを伝つたえていくことにしています

For five years, we will work together to convey the importance of peace to young people.

今年ことし4月がつ、平和公園へいわこうえんと姉妹しまい公園こうえんになりたいという話はなしがありました

In April of this year, there was talk of wanting to become a sister park to Peace Park.

広島市ひろしましは、5月がつのG7サミットで決きめた核兵器かくへいきを少すくなくする計画けいかくが進すすむと考かんがえて、姉妹しまい公園こうえんになることを決きめました

The city of Hiroshima decided to become sister parks, believing that the plan to reduce the number of nuclear weapons decided at the G7 summit in May would go ahead.

広島市ひろしましは「戦争せんそうが始はじまったときと終おわったときに関係かんけいする公園こうえんが協力きょうりょくすることになります

Hiroshima City said, ”When the war began and when it ended, the parks concerned will cooperate.

戦争せんそうの悲かなしさと相手あいてを憎にくむ気持きもちを越こえて、これからの平和へいわや国くにと国くにの関係かんけいをよくすることにつながります」と言いっています

Beyond the sadness of war and hatred of the other party, it will lead to peace and better relations between countries in the future.”
