Delta Air Lines bites passenger and assaults on board, attacks man
A man allegedly committed violence against a large number of passengers on a Delta Air Lines passenger plane, and the US Federal Aviation Administration and others have begun an investigation into the incident.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department and Transportation Security Agency (TSA), crew members of Delta Air Lines Flight 501, which arrived from Atlanta at the Los Angeles airport, have been informed that they bit one passenger and caught a man who hit multiple passengers.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance and received a mental examination.
The passengers that this man injured are also treated.
It is unclear what happened after the man was taken to the hospital, but there is also the possibility of criminal or civil liability.
According to the FAA website, there have been more than 2,100 passenger problem behavior reported in 2024, and more than 300 in 2025.
The FAA states that "it pursues enforcement measures against passengers who assault, intimidate, intimidate or sabotage crew members, and may seek civil penalties of less than $37,000 per violation."
