A massive march was held in Manhattan, New York, protesting against the first major airstrike on the Gaza Strip since the start of the ceasefire
In response to the organizers' chants, participants at the demonstration said, "Stop the airstrikes on Gaza."
Let Palestine go free."
The protesters then marched through the city of Manhattan, and it appears that the number of participants has ultimately exceeded thousands.
According to Gaza authorities, at least 400 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes so far.
Last year, a man who was expelled from Columbia University Graduate School for leading an anti-Israel demonstration, criticised the airstrikes and university crackdowns.
