Japanese company’s spacecraft failed to land on the moon
Last December, a spacecraft was launched to go to the moon, made by the private Japanese company ispace.
The spacecraft was scheduled to descend to the moon on April 26 from a height of about 100 km.
However, after the scheduled time for the descent passed, it stopped sending data.
The company believes the spacecraft got the height wrong and eventually ran out of fuel and fell to the moon.

A company employee said, ”I couldn’t go down to the moon.
But I was able to get some very useful data.
We will proceed with the next plan,” he said.
