Ms. Setsuko Thurlow ”Continuing to pass on the memories of the atomic bomb survivors” to students
Setsuko Thurlow was 13 years old when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
I’m 91 and live in Canada
For more than 50 years, Mr. Thurlow has shared his experience of being exposed to the atomic bombings around the world and continues to work to eliminate nuclear weapons.

On the 15th, Mr. Thurlow spoke to 500 people, including students, at Hiroshima Jogakuin University, where he graduated.
Thurlow said, ”In Hiroshima, I learned that everyone wants to have a solid discussion at the G7 to eliminate nuclear weapons.
In order to abolish nuclear weapons and create a safe and peaceful society, please continue to convey the memories and feelings of the atomic bomb survivors.”
