The government investigates a house full of trash and causing problems for the first time

Houses with lots of garbage in their rooms and gardens are becoming a problem, causing bad smells and attracting insects.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications investigated such houses for the first time.
調べた30の市や区の181の家では、60%ぐらいが1人で住んでいました
Of the 181 homes surveyed in 30 cities and wards, around 60% were lived alone.
About 70% of people had health or financial problems.
The city taught about 60% of households how to dispose of garbage, but only about 30% improved.
Some homes have improved because the city has cooperated with various organizations and introduced doctors and helpers.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has told four government offices, including the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, to provide information to cities and other organizations on how to improve the situation.
