A 24-year-old Japanese man becomes the youngest person to circumnavigate the world on a yacht.

兵庫県西宮市ひょうごけんにしのみやしの木村きむら啓嗣ひろつぐさんが、1人ひとりでヨットに乗のって、世界せかいを一周いっしゅうしました

Keitsugu Kimura from Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture sailed around the world by himself on a yacht.

木村きむらさんは、去年きょねん10月がつ22日にち、西宮市にしのみやしの港みなとを出発しゅっぱつしました

Mr. Kimura left the port of Nishinomiya City on October 22 last year.

231日にちの間あいだ、海うみを渡わたって、6月がつ8日ようかの午後ごご、ゴールしました

After crossing the ocean for 231 days, I reached the goal on the afternoon of June 8th.

木村きむらさんは会社員かいしゃいんで、24歳さい9か月げつです

He became the youngest Japanese person to circumnavigate the world by himself on a yacht without stopping anywhere or adding food.

1人ひとりでヨットに乗のって、途中とちゅうでどこにも寄よらないで、食たべ物ものなども足たさないで、世界せかいを一周いっしゅうした日本人にっぽんじんで、いちばん若わかい記録きろくになりました

The previous record was held by Kojiro Shiraishi 30 years ago, at the age of 26 years and 10 months.

今いままでの記録きろくは、30年ねん前まえの白石しらいし康次郎こうじろうさんで、26歳さい10か月げつでした

Two years ago, Mr. Horie, at the age of 83, the oldest person in the world, crossed the Pacific Ocean on a yacht by himself, without stopping anywhere along the way.

9日ここのか、お祝いわいの式しきがあって、堀江ほりえ謙一けんいちさんも出でました

Kimura said, ``I’m glad I was able to do my best until the end.’’

堀江ほりえさんは2年ねん前まえ、世界せかいでいちばん高たかい年齢ねんれいの83歳さいで、途中とちゅうでどこにも寄よらないで、1人ひとりでヨットで太平洋たいへいようを渡わたりました

木村きむらさんは「最後さいごまで頑張がんばることができてよかったです」と話はなしていました
