”Aoi Festival” in Kyoto: 500 people dressed in old kimono walk the streets
京都で有名なお祭りの1つの「葵祭」がありました

This festival is said to have started around 1,400 years ago when the emperor prayed for an abundance of rice.
People wearing kimonos from the Heian period and decorated with hollyhock leaves walk through the streets of Kyoto.
