The 2028 Olympics will include five more sports, including baseball.

The five sports are ”baseball/softball,” ”cricket,” ”lacrosse,” ”squash,” and ”flag football.”
Cricket and lacrosse haven’t played at the Olympics in over 100 years.
Squash and flag football will be Olympic sports for the first time.
Flag football is a sport similar to American football, but instead of tackling, players pick up the cloth worn by their opponent on their waist.
Since a year ago, the IOC has allowed the organizing committees of the places hosting the Games to tell the IOC which sports they would like to add.
