Yokohama City: Supermarket opens where you can shop without going through the cash register
横浜駅の近くに27日オープンしたスーパーには、レジがない売り場があります
The supermarket that opened on the 27th near Yokohama Station has a section without a cash register.

Customers use a smartphone app to scan a QR code and show it to the machine.
In the sales floor, 35 cameras on the ceiling and sensors on the shelves tell shoppers which items they’ve picked up.
