Morioka High school student injured during javelin throwing practice, stabbed in neck, taken to hospital

According to police and the school, a second-year male student on the track and field club was practicing stabbing a spear into the ground in the schoolyard when the spear rebounded and stuck him in the left side of his neck.
A student who witnessed it nearby immediately informed the teacher.
According to police, the student was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is being treated.
