A new American rocket equipped with the unmanned spacecraft ”Orion”, which performs a test flight to the moon, was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida before 4:00 pm on the 16th Japan time.
”Orion” orbits the moon to test whether there is no problem with carrying people on board, and returns to Earth in about a month.
NASA aims to land astronauts on the moon in 2025 for the first time in 53 years since the Apollo program.
