Three years after the death of Tetsu Nakamura, many people pray at the Tokyo embassy.
Tetsu Nakamura, who had worked for the people of Afghanistan for many years, was shot dead three years ago on December 4th.
A ceremony to pray for Mr. Nakamura was held at the Afghan Embassy in Tokyo on the 4th.

About 70 people gathered, including people from the NGO ”Peshawar-kai” where Mr. Nakamura was active, and people from the embassy.
At the ceremony, they watched a video of Mr. Nakamura working with people from Afghanistan to turn dry land into fields.
Ambassador Abdali of Afghanistan said, ”Our country is going through difficult times now, but we must continue Mr. Nakamura’s work.”
The Taliban, which rule Afghanistan, say they are investigating Nakamura’s case.
