Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department team departs to “help the hearts of people affected by the earthquake”
A team from the Metropolitan Police Department is going to Ishikawa Prefecture to reduce the stress and worry of those affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
We started our activities during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
At the departure ceremony, a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department asked the officers on the team, ``Please come and help the hearts of the victims.’’
The team will go to evacuation centers in Wajima City and other areas from the 12th to the 20th.

We will listen to your concerns and give you advice on how to prevent items from being stolen from your broken home.
One of the team members, a police officer who was in his hometown of Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, at the time of the earthquake, said, ``I want to listen carefully to the stories of everyone who continues to have difficult lives, and work with all my heart.’’
