“New denialism” about climate change is rapidly increasing on YouTube, watchdog group warns

A monitoring group has released a report sounding an alarm over the changing tone of videos denying climate change on the video posting site YouTube.
ＳＮＳ上のヘイトスピーチ（憎悪表現）を監視する英ＮＧＯ「デジタルヘイト対策センター」（ＣＣＤＨ）が、近年のＹｏｕＴｕｂｅ動画を分析しました
The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a British NGO that monitors hate speech on social media, analyzed recent YouTube videos.
報告書によると、「気候変動はうそだ」「人間の活動が原因ではない」など、問題を直接否定する従来の説に代わって、最近は気候科学や対策に疑いを投げ掛けたり、温暖化は無害でむしろ好都合だと主張したりする説が目立っています
According to the report, instead of traditional theories that directly deny the problem, such as ``climate change is a lie’’ or ``human activities are not the cause,’’ there are more recent theories that are casting doubt on climate science and countermeasures, and claiming that global warming is not the cause. There are many theories that claim that it is harmless or even convenient.
CCDH points out that such ”new denialism” has rapidly increased in the past five years.
