Family Mart convenience store is handing out plastic spoons, forks, and straws to people who buy bento boxes, desserts, etc.
Currently it’s free, but starting from the 29th of this month, FamilyMart will charge a fee for spoons and other items at around 100 stores.
Prices range from 4 yen to 6 yen.
In the future, all 16,000 stores will charge a fee.
