Plans are being made to build a resort called IR in Osaka prefecture and city, which will include a casino, a national meeting hall, a hotel, and more.
IR will be built on a man-made island in Osaka bay called Yumeshima, and is planned to open in the year 2029.
At the meeting a gathering of experts from the tourism agency discussed reports of results from an investigation into these plans.
