Young people announce their vision for the future of Wakura Onsen
石川県七尾市にある和倉温泉は、能登半島地震で大きな被害を受けました
Wakura Onsen in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture was severely damaged by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
There are over 20 inns and hotels in Wakura Onsen, but most are broken and closed.

A group of young people among them announced their vision for the future on February 29th.
Approximately 50 people listened, including the mayor of Nanao City and people from government offices.
The group said they wanted to create a town where people would want to take a walk while looking at Nanao Bay.
グループは、七尾湾を見ながら散歩したくなるような町をつくりたいと言いました
He also wants people to stay at a Japanese inn for a long time and take a relaxing bath in a hot spring.
For safety, we are also planning to build evacuation areas in high places.
The group’s representative said, ``We want to make this a hot spring town where everyone can be happy, not just those who come for sightseeing, but also those who work and live there.’’
