93 dead in landslide in India, 250 rescued, search operations continue.

インド南部なんぶケララ州しゅうで発生はっせいした大規模だいきぼな土砂崩どしゃくずれで、州首相しゅうしゅしょうは３０日にち、同州どうしゅうワヤナド地区ちくでこれまでに少すくなくとも９３人にんが死亡しぼうし、１２８人にんが負傷ふしょうしていることを明あきらかにした

A massive landslide in the southern Indian state of Kerala has left at least 93 people dead and 128 injured in Wayanad district, the state’s chief minister said on the 30th.

州当局しゅうとうきょくによると、同地区どうちくでは３０日未明にちみめいに少すくなくとも２カ所しょで土砂崩どしゃくずれがあり、約やく１０００人にんが被災ひさいしている

According to state authorities, landslides occurred in at least two locations in the area in the early hours of the 30th, leaving about 1,000 people affected.

”We don’t know if people were swept into the river or not.

However, we are doing our best to rescue her,” the official said.

犠牲者ぎせいしゃの多おおくは溺死できし（できし）だったといい、被害者数ひがいしゃすうはまだ確定かくていしておらず、今後数時間こんごすうじかんで状況じょうきょうが変かわる可能性かのうせいもあるとした

Many of the victims were said to have drowned, but the number has not yet been determined and the situation could change in the coming hours.

天候てんこうはやや改善かいぜんし、救助活動きゅうじょかつどうを急いそぐことができるようになった

The weather has improved slightly, allowing rescue operations to begin quickly.

救助活動きゅうじょかつどうのために仮設かせつの橋はしが設置せっちされ、橋はしが崩落ほうらくして孤立こりつしていた集落しゅうらくには軍ぐんが派遣はけんされて２５０人にんが救助きゅうじょされた

A temporary bridge was erected for rescue operations, and the military was dispatched to the isolated village where the bridge collapsed, and 250 people were rescued.

現場げんばには軍ぐんのほか、国くにと州しゅうの災害救助隊さいがいきゅうじょたい、ケララ州消防隊しゅうしょうぼうたいも出動しゅつどうしている

In addition to the military, national and state disaster relief teams and the Kerala Fire Brigade are also at the scene.

現地げんちの病院関係者びょういんかんけいしゃがＣＮＮに語かたったところによると、悪天候あくてんこうのため病院びょういんは負傷者ふしょうしゃを「一人ひとりずつ」しか受うけ入いれられない状況じょうきょうにあり、人工呼吸器じんこうこきゅうきも底そこを尽つきかけている

A local hospital official told CNN that due to the bad weather, hospitals are only able to accept injured people ”one at a time” and that they are running out of ventilators.

これまでに７３人にんの患者かんじゃを受うけ入いれたものの、そのうち８人にんは病院びょういんに到着とうちゃくした時点じてんで死亡しぼうしており、８人にんは集中治療室しゅうちゅうちりょうしつ（ＩＣＵ）に入院にゅういん、２人ふたりが重体じゅうたいとなっている

Of the 73 patients admitted so far, eight died on arrival at the hospital, eight were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), and two are in critical condition.
