Be careful of a huge earthquake happening while driving.
関東大震災から9月1日で100年になります
It has been 100 years since 1st Sep of the Great Kantou earthquake.
The metropolitan police department has reminded to bear these following things in mind in case of earthquakes while you are on the road.
揺れていることがわかったら、車を道の左側にゆっくり止めてください
When you feel it is shaking, please slowly stop the car on the left side of the road.
Do not stop abruptly since it may cause an accident.
After stopping the car, please search for information of traffic or the earthquake on radio or smartphone.
Since the roads might be broken due to earthquake, please listen to the guidance from the police carefully while moving your car.
車から降りて逃げるときは、車の中に鍵を置いて、ドアに鍵をかけないでください
When getting off the car to run away, please put the key inside the car and do not lock the doors.
It is for ambulance to pass through easily without the car blocking the way.
Please leave your phone number or such in the car.
