”The safest city in the world” ranking, No. 1 this year in Copenhagen

Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, ranked first in the world’s safest city rankings compiled by the British economist.
The Economist Magazine Research Division’s ”Safety Cities Index (SCI)” ranks 60 cities around the world in consideration of digital security, hygienic safety, infrastructure, and security.
Environmental safety has also been added as a new category this year.
Until now, Asian cities such as Tokyo, Singapore, and Osaka have dominated the rankings every year, but it was the European cities that won first place this year.
Copenhagen won the first place with 82.4 points out of 100 points
Last year it was 8th, but it jumped to the top mainly due to the newly introduced high score in the environmental safety field.
In second place and below, Toronto, Canada came in second with 82.2 points, and Singapore came in third with 80.7 points.
Sydney, Australia finished 4th with 80.1 points, but ranked 1st in the field of digital security.
Tokyo, the leader in 2019, was fifth with 80.0 points.
