Early colorectal cancer New treatments have reduced the number of people who get cancer again
Among cancers, the number of people who develop colon cancer is the highest in Japan.
In the case of early-stage cancer, where there is little danger of spreading to other parts of the body, an endoscope with a small camera is inserted into the large intestine and the cancerous part is removed with a wire.
However, in some cases, it may not be possible to remove all of them, and more than 10% of people have the same cancer again.
A new treatment uses an endoscope to remove the cancer with an electric scalpel.
Research groups such as the National Cancer Center have looked at about 1,400 people who have received this treatment.
