About Polar Bears
Polar bears live in the Arctic.
They are large and have white fur.
But their fur is transparent and their skin is black.
Their fur reflects light, making them appear white.
Polar bears are excellent swimmers.
They can swim over 100 kilometers.
They eat seals.
But global warming is lessening (which means reducing)the amount of ice, making it harder for them to find things to eat.
Polar bears are in danger of extinction.
We need to protect the environment.
