1923年ねん9月がつ1日ついたちに関東大震災かんとうだいしんさいがありました

The Great Kanto Earthquake occurred on September 1st, 1923.

大おおきな地震じしんでたくさんの建物たてものが壊こわれたり火事かじになったりして、10万まん人にん以上いじょうが亡なくなりました

It was a huge earthquake that toppled many buildings and started fires; more than 100,000 people were killed.

気象庁が立ち上げた、当時の被害を伝える写真やデータなどの資料をまとめたウェブサイト

この震災しんさいから今年ことしで100年ねんになります

This year marks 100 years since this earthquake disaster.

気象庁きしょうちょうは震災しんさいの被害ひがいを伝つたえるため、そのときの写真しゃしんなどを紹介しょうかいするウェブサイトを作つくりました

In order to convey the damage from this earthquake disaster, the Japan Meteorological Agency created a website showing pictures and such from that time.

東京駅とうきょうえきの周まわりの写真しゃしんでは、火事かじで近ちかくの建物たてものなどが全部ぜんぶ焼やけています
