A long time ago, in Iwate Prefecture, lived a coupleー an old man and woman.
The two had no children.
One day, a baby was crying under a tree.
The two of them raised the baby dearly.
The baby was named 'Kisuke', and grew up to be a boy who loved to work and cherished his parents.
That year, there was no rain in the village.
The water in the wells and ponds ran out, the villagers were troubled.
One night, Kisuke said, I am actually the child of a dragon who lives in the heavens.
