The price of rice in supermarkets has risen again
According to MAFF, up until the week of May eleventh, the price of rice at supermarkets was 4268 yen for 5kg.
That's 54 yen more than last week.
Last week was the first time this year the price reduced.
Among the rice sold in supermarkets, 31% was made up of rice produced in the country.
That's slightly less than the week before.
