The oil pipeline was damaged off the southern coast of California, and 3,000 barrels (about 350,000 liters) of crude oil spilled into the sea.

”The beautiful wildlife habitat we’ve built over decades in collaboration with the community has been completely destroyed in just one day,” Foley said.
