Greta Joins COP26 by Train
気候変動に関する国際会議＝COP26が、まもなくイギリスで開幕します
International conference on climate change (COP26) is finally starting in the U.K.
Greta Thunberg, an influential young environmentalist from Sweden, also enters the venue.
As many as 197 countries takes part in the forum on 31 October in Glasgow, Scotland.
The focuses are on whether countries can agree or not on strengthening commitment for greenhouse gas reduction targets in each country and on providing funding to developing countries to achieve the goal of keeping the average temperature rise within 1.5°C as adopted in the Paris Agreement.
As the conference starts, Greta Thunberg join the venue alongside other environmentalists from around 20 countries by train.
