COP26 Agreement Draft to Emphasize Temperature Rise ”within 1.5 degree”
英グラスゴーで開かれている国連気候変動枠組み条約第２６回締約国会議（ＣＯＰ２６）の合意文書案が１０日に公表されました
The agreement draft of the COP26 which was held by UNFCCC in Glasgow, Scotland has been officially announced since 10 October.
The document includes words emphasizing the goal of keeping global average temperature rise within 1.5 degree compared to before the Industrial Revolution.
この案を基にした今後数日間の交渉で、合意文書の最終的な文言が決定します
Negotiations over the next few days based on this proposal will determine the final wording of the agreement.
文書案には、２１００年までの気温上昇を１．５度に抑えれば、その影響は２度上昇した場合に比べてはるかに小さいとの認識が初めて明記されました
For the first time, the draft document clearly states that if the temperature rise by 2100 is suppressed to 1.5 degrees, the effect will be much smaller than if it rises by 2 degrees.
Furthermore, to realize that, countries point out the need to take significantly effective actions and to approach this issue scientifically.
