12 year-old boy comes to the rescue of a couple and their dog in Hawaii thanks to his boyscout experience

In Hawaii, a 12 year-old boy who was hiking rescued, thanks to what he learned as a boyscout, a couple in the mountains who couldn’t move because their dog was injured.

The boy who helped the couple is David King.
In August this year, with his mother Christine, on their way back from their hike approximately 24 kilometers away from their home in Kailua, they met the couple who had lost their way.
The couple was trying to help their dog Smokey.

According to David, the couple had ran out of potable water and had no more cellphone battery.
The couple was trying to carry Smokey, a pitbull terrier, who had a laceration to its leg that disabled walking, however Smokey’s weight was over 45kg.
