Fresh food from the sky! Food delivery by drone
KDDIやJR東日本などは、飲食店から近くの広場へ、ドローンを使って料理を配送する実証実験を行いました
KDDI, JR East, etc. conducted a demonstration experiment to deliver food using a drone from a restaurant to a nearby plaza.
After taking off from the terrace, the drone will land on the plaza about 50 meters away, and the staff who received the food will carry it to the audience seats.
Since this is the first experiment to deliver meals by drone in a densely populated area in Tokyo, it is expected that meals will be delivered directly from the delivery base to the balcony of the condominium in the future.
The government has a policy to allow the drone to fly over the city even if the operator cannot see it by next year.
