Japan Post Bank costs money when depositing coins
From the 17th, Japan Post Bank has started to cost money when depositing coins and when making transfers with coins.

At ATMs, it costs 110 yen from 1 to 25 coinsm
In both cases, the more coins you have, the more money you will spend.
Regarding the reason, Japan Post Bank says, ”The number of people who deposit coins is increasing, and the amount of money required for banking work is increasing.”
