Raccoons on Mt. Homan and rice fields
A raccoon that is good at transforming lives in a mountain called Homanzan in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The raccoons were always fooling people
One day, while a raccoon was transformed into a Jizo statue, a small person in green clothes came to me.
When the raccoon asks "Who is it?", he says, "It's Tanobou
I've come to compare the raccoons, which are better at transforming, and which one is better."
The raccoon has transformed into a variety of things
However, Tanobo was not surprised.
Tanobo took the raccoon to the top of the mountain
There were lots of red flowers blooming beneath the mountains
Tanobo said, "My technique slowly transforms
Come here tomorrow morning and look below."
The next day, when the raccoon looked down from the top of the mountain, the flowers disappeared and the colour of the soil was turned into
I looked three days later and found it full of water.
When I looked the next day it turned green
The raccoon said, "Tanobo transformed the ground.
It's an amazing technique," he thought, and ran away from the mountains.
Tanobo was an old lady living in the village.
The grandmother showed the raccoons the villagers doing work in the rice fields.
The raccoon saw the ground changing and thought it was Tanobo's technique.
