Mushi Okuri event to pray for insects not to stick to the rice
“Mushiokuri” is an event to pray that bad insects do not stick to rice by using fire after planting rice in the rice field.
In Tonosho Town on Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, it has been practiced since the Edo period.
