China’s Chang’e 6 probe lands on the far side of the moon to collect samples for the first time in human history

　人類史上初じんるいしじょうはじめて、月つきの裏側うらがわからのサンプル採取さいしゅを目指めざす中国ちゅうごくの無人探査機むじんたんさき「嫦娥じょうが6号ごう」が月面着陸げつめんちゃくりくに成功せいこうしました

For the first time in human history, China’s unmanned probe ”Chang’e 6”, which aims to collect samples from the far side of the moon, successfully landed on the moon.

　「嫦娥じょうが6号ごう」は日本時間にっぽんじかんの2日午前ふつかごぜん7時じ23分ぷんに、月つきの裏側うらがわにある南極なんきょくの盆地ぼんちに着陸ちゃくりくしました

”Chang’e 6” landed in the Antarctic basin on the far side of the moon at 7:23 a.m. Japan time on the 2nd.

　月つきの裏側うらがわへの着陸ちゃくりくは中国ちゅうごくだけが実現じつげんしていて、今回こんかいが2回目かいめとなります

Only China has achieved landing on the far side of the moon, and this will be the second time.

　これからおよそ2日間ふつかかんをかけ、人類史上初じんるいしじょうはじめてとなる月つきの裏側うらがわからのサンプル採取さいしゅに取とり組くみます

Over the next two days, we will work on collecting samples from the far side of the moon for the first time in human history.

　先月せんげつ3日みっかに海南島かいなんとうから打うち上あげられた「嫦娥じょうが6号ごう」は、30日間にちかんで月つきの裏側うらがわへとたどり着つきました

”Chang’e 6” launched from Hainan Island on the 3rd of last month and reached the far side of the moon in 30 days.

　「宇宙強国うちゅうきょうこく」を目指めざす中国ちゅうごくは、2030年ねんまでに有人ゆうじんの月面着陸げつめんちゃくりくを目指めざしていて、宇宙開発うちゅうかいはつでもアメリカとしのぎを削けずっています

China, which aims to become a ”space power”, aims to land a man on the moon by 2030, and is competing with the United States in space development.

　「嫦娥じょうが6号ごう」は日本時間にっぽんじかんの2日午前ふつかごぜん7時じ23分ぷんに、月つきの裏側うらがわにある南極なんきょくの盆地ぼんちに着陸ちゃくりくしました

Chang’e 6 landed in the south pole’s basin on the far side of the moon at 7:23am Japan time.

　月つきの裏側うらがわへの着陸ちゃくりくは中国ちゅうごくだけが実現じつげんしていて、今回こんかいが2回目かいめとなります

Only China has implemented a landing on the far side of the moon. This is their second time.

　これからおよそ2日間ふつかかんをかけ、人類史上初じんるいしじょうはじめてとなる月つきの裏側うらがわからのサンプル採取さいしゅに取とり組くみます

In about two days from now, it will attmept to collect a sample from the far side of the moon for the first time in human history.

On the 3rd of last month, Chang’e 6 was launched from Hainan island. It took 30 days to arrive to the far side of the moon.

As China is aiming for ”Space Power”, it is aiming for a manned moon landing by 2030. They are competing with the United States to develop space.
