Man dies after falling from 604m cliff at ’Mission: Impossible’ filming location

A man has died after falling from a 604-meter-high cliff in Preikestolen, a tourist destination in southwestern Norway known as the filming location for the ``Mission: Impossible’’ movie series.

The cliff-top Preikestolen, which means ”speech platform” in Norwegian, is popular for its spectacular view of the fjord below, and according to the Tourism Bureau, more than 300,000 tourists visit each year.

Local police confirmed on the 3rd that a man in his 40s had died.
The man was traveling alone and his cellphone and ID were found.
Police say they have almost identified the person.

Police said the fall is being investigated as an accident, and there is no evidence to suggest it was an incident.
