HondaJet successfully flies for the first time using SAF alone
Honda, an automotive company, manufactures a small airplane called the HondaJet.
Honda was proud to announce that they had s쳮ded in flying this plane using only SAF fuel.
SAF is a fuel cell made from plant matter.
It is thought that the amount of gas emitted that raises the temperature of the earth is much smaller than that produced from petroleum oil, and it is thought that it will have a negative impact on the environment.
According to Honda, this is the first time in the world that the aircraft has s쳮ded in flying with just SAF.
Airplane companies ANA and JAL plan to convert 10% of the fuel they use into SAF by 2030.
