”Aomori Nebuta Festival” Making big nebuta again this year
今年の「青森ねぶた祭」は8月2日から7日まで行います
This year’s ”Aomori Nebuta Festival” will be held from August 2nd to 7th.
For the first time in a long time, anyone can freely dance around the Nebuta like it was before the spread of the new coronavirus.
”Nebuta” is a large lantern in the shape of a samurai, using beautiful colors.
There will be 23 large Nebuta floats at this year’s festival.

Mr. Ryuho Tatsuta, who makes Nebuta floats, makes works based on famous Kabuki stories.
I used a brush to draw the face, which is the most important part of the Nebuta, so that I could see it clearly.
