中国メディアによりますと、打ち上げられたのは雄のマッコウクジラで、先月25日、北部の渤海に面する大連市の海岸で発見されました。　
According to Chinese media, a male sperm whale was brought ashore, it was discovered in the coast of Dalian city which was opposite the northern Bohai Sea on 25th last month.
全長は約18メートル、体重は40トンに達するということです。　
Its total length is about 18 meters and its weight is up to 40 tons.
発見された時点で死んでいましたが、この海域でマッコウクジラが確認されるのは初めてだということです。　
It died when it was discovered, but this is the first time that sperm whale has been identified in this area.
クジラはその後に近くの研究機関に運ばれました。　
Later, it was taken to a nearby research institute.
死因などを分析したのち、市内の博物館に展示される見通しです。　
After analyzing the cause of death, it is expected to be on display at a museum in the city.
