栃木県那須町の動物園が国内で初めて絶滅が危惧されている「ホッキョクオオカミ」の繁殖に成功しました。　
A zoo in Nasu town, Tochigi Prefecture is the first place in Japan to successfully breed the endangered Arctic wolf.
那須町の「那須どうぶつ王国」で産まれたのは、絶滅危惧種「ホッキョクオオカミ」の赤ちゃん2匹です。　
Two cubs of the endangered Arctic wolf have been born at Nasu Animal Kingdom in Nasu Town.
王国によりますと、先月16日に雄と雌が1匹ずつ産まれました。　
According to the kingdom, a male and a female were born on the 16th of last month.
2週間後に測定したところ、体長は2匹とも約20センチでしたが、今月22日の測定では体長が倍の40センチほどに育ち、雄が3900グラム、雌が3000グラムと順調に成長しています。
