The United States Department of Health and Human Services announced on the 15th that it will launch a comprehensive investigation into these risks, following Secretary of Health Kennedys statement that electromagnetic waves emitted by mobile phones may cause health problems such as nerve damage and cancer.

This is a measure implemented by this ministry to proceed with a new scientific review based on the ministers opinion.

Last year, the ministry announced that, as part of the Make America Healthy Again MAHA campaign, 22 states had taken measures to restrict the use of mobile phones in schools in order to improve the physical and mental health of children.

Furthermore, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA is also showing signs of reconsidering its previous stance, such as deleting a website that once emphasized the safety of mobile phones.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare stated, In response to the FDA removing its website containing previous conclusions about electromagnetic waves, the Ministry will promote research on the health effects of electromagnetic waves, identify current knowledge gaps, and ensure safety and efficacy, including with the latest technologies.

This survey was officially instructed in the strategic report of the MAHA Committee led by President Trump.

On the other hand, the websites of relevant organizations such as the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC state that there is currently no reliable evidence that electromagnetic waves from mobile phones are harmful to health.

Therefore, attention will be focused on how future research findings will impact scientific discussions.
