旅をしながら
仕事をして
生活している
兄弟がいました。
A long time ago, there were brothers who made a living by traveling from village to village for work.

よく働きましたが、
兄は
働かないで、
いつも弟に
働かせていました。
My younger brother worked hard, but my older brother didnt work and always made my younger brother do the work.

兄弟は「
空を
飛ぶ
船を
見つけた
人に、
家と
お金を
あげる。
One day, the brothers heard, Whoever finds the ship that flies in the sky will be given a house and money.
と
結婚させる」と
書いて
ある紙を
見つけました。
I found a piece of paper that says, And I will have him marry my daughter.

船を
探しましたが、
見つかりませんでした。
The brothers looked for the ship, but couldnt find it.

弟を
邪魔だと
思って、
別々に
探すことにしました。
My older brother thought his younger brother was a nuisance, so he decided that they would search separately.

言いました。
When my younger brother was walking, an old man said, Please give me a rice ball.

My younger brother helped my older brother.

They got on a boat and went to the lords house.

The lord gave money and a house to the two people.

And then, I married him to my daughter.

They lived happily ever after.
